Mike Moore – Over 50 Years in Broadcasting
RockinghamCountyRadio personality Mike Moore, a North Carolina native, had just turned 13 in July 1960 when be began a half-hour 'top tunes' show on Saturday night at WSAT in Salisbury. He moved to Rockingham County in 1972 as News Director of WLOE in Eden. Moore and his wife Annette operate WLOE and WMYN in Mayodan, the area's only full service stations. He still has a passion for radio after all these years. "I love what I do...am proud of our stations...and appreciate the support of our many loyal listeners, advertisers and friends over the years."
