Annual Fall Fest – First Presbyterian Church, Southwood Drive, Eden, Saturday, October 26, 7:30 am-2:30 pm.  Yard and bake sales, children's activities, barbecue and hotdog lunch, brunswick stew, door prizes, raffle. 

Benefit for Walter 'Sarge' Murray – Sandy Ridge Community Building, Saturday, October 26, 11 am-3 pm.  Two hot dogs, drink, potato chips, dessert, $6.  Bake sale, 50/50 raffle, bluegrass and gospel music.  Proceeds will help with funeral expenses.  (336.427.4958)

Eden City Council Candidates Forum – Santana's, East Stadium Drive, Thursday, October17.  Meet and greet, 5:30 pm.  Candidates will have three minutes to speak starting at 6 pm.  Sponsored by Eden Chamber of Commerce. 

Reidsville Fall Jubilee – Market Square, Downtown, Saturday, October 19, 10 am-9 pm.  Festival food, crafts, classic cars, games, music, beer garden, arts, vendors, family activities.  Free admission. 

Patricia Johnson Cookbook Signing – Madison-Mayodan Public Library, Saturday, October 19, 1 pm.  'Trisha's Southern Goodness' available for purchase, $20.  Buy a book, get a free jar of homemade jams or preserves.  

Sideline – IBMA Award-winning bluegrass band, will be in concert at Wright Memorial Event Center in Eden, Saturday, October 26, 7 pm.  (
